HTTPManifold Reborn

HTTPManifold is an open source project that was started in 2006. It's main purpose was to act as a reverse proxy and allow multiple domains to be hosted by different servers on a single IP address.

At the time, the network it was created for had a proprietary HTTP server hosting one site, another proprietary web-mail server, an Apache server running a PHP app, yet another proprietary web server running a task tracker, and webmin server. As each tool was distinctly different, and ran on different machines, allowing a single IP address to connect to all of them was not a simple task. HTTPManifold was created to facilitate it.

It evolved to provide features that allow web services and other HTTP tracing and debugging to be performed.

Due to involvement in other projects, its development slowed and it has not had a release in about a year. Recently, AgileTrack Software has resurrected the project and development has continued.
