Improvements To GototSSH -- including Copy/Paste

GotoSSH has undergone a series of testing and improvements recently. In particular, functionality has been tested with the rendering engines used by Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari.

These changes were announced in a press release today.

The updates to the service identified and fixed problems affecting some browser versions, and added new functionality as well:

• Safari and Chrome browser support added—until now, keyboard input was failing on non-alphanumeric keypresses
• Internet Explorer warning fixed—an MSXML mismatch warning was being shown in IE7 and above
• Selecting text in a client session works—the automatic refresh interval had been deselecting text
• Text can be pasted into SSH sessions—the new paste button works on all browsers

These changes make GotoSSH work across more browsers than any other web-based SSH client. The new copy and paste functionality has been heavily requested and special effort has been made for it to work in all browsers without changing security settings or other configuration.

In the near future, advanced SSH functionality will be added that will allow power users to take full advantage of SSH features over secure HTTP.
